Gefilte Fish. The secret of a good marriage.

Growing up, it was not unusual for me to find carp in my Grandmother's bathtub. She had purchased them from a place in lower downtown Denver, placed them in the tub, ready to be gefilted. I would not recommend this to families today, but the smell of fresh gefilte fish cooking remains one of my best memories. This link is wonderful...and a unique way to talk about foods in the Jewish home.
